Common questions
Can I just turn up?
We prefer beginners to start on the first Wednesday of each month.
How much does it cost?
£5/£6 (Bath class) - pay at the start of the class.
What should I wear?
T-shirt, trainers and jogging bottoms are suitable attire. I find ‘kung fu slippers’ or plimsoles do not offer enough protection if somebody steps on your foot, so and are best avoided.
What if I miss a week, will I fall behind?
Don’t worry, there are enough experienced longtime students in the class to assist with teaching so that you’ll be able to receive the individual attention you need to catch up on any weeks you miss.
What style of Tai Chi do you teach?
We teach the 'old Yang' style of Tai Chi, passed on from Yang Jian-Hou > Li Jin Ling > Ku Yu Chang > Yim Sheung Mo > Lam Kam Chuen > Raymond Rand > our teacher Graham > Bath Tai Chi students. See the article on our lineage.
