Drop-in classes weekly in Bath and Saltford

Where is it?

Our Bath class (Monday nights from Oct 7th) is at the Scouts HQ, 7 Grove Street, Bath BA2 6PJ from 6-7pm. All levels welcome, beginners can come any time. Map.

Our Saltford Tai Chi Class (Friday lunch time, 1-2pm) is held at Keynsham Combat Academy, which is located next to Flourish Food Hall and Kitchen, Glenavon Farm, Bath Road, Saltford, BS31 3TJ. Park in the main car park, then walk out of the car park, turn right and walk to the buildings at the far end of the farm and you'll find the door there on the left. We look forward to meeting you!

How long is a class?
45 minutes to an hour.

Who is it for?
All adults are welcome, but it's not for kids. The class is done standing, so you need to be able to stand for the period.

What sort of class is it?
We'll start with some gentle warm up exercises, then move on to the soft flowing movements of the Tai Chi form.

How much does it cost?
£10 per lesson. Pay as you go.

What should I wear?
T-shirt and jogging bottoms, or exercise wear are suitable attire. The Saltford class is on a matted area, so no shoes are permitted. Socks are fine. For the Bath class, trainers are good.

Is there a class on a Bank Holiday Monday?
No.

Can I join?
Yes! Beginners always welcome. Just turn up or contact me to let me know you're coming.
